up for auction is an extra clean 1970 opel gt. this car was restored a few years back and has only been driven a little over 5000 miles since. the interior was completely redone. headliner, seats, carpet, doors, seats, dash. the body was stripped and re painted. the engine was also rebuilt. almost all the parts were purchased from opel gt source.
!973 opel gt i have had for 20 years. motor ran when i tested it. needs upholstery and restoration. i have extra tail lights and some other parts.
*runs very well, mechanically sound with a nice rumble but not to loud. a seal on the water pump needs replaced (slow leak). the turn signal handle on the steering column is broken off. all gauges work except the fuel gauge.*paint and several top coats are near perfect with two very small spots forming rust under paint and one 6 inch x 1 inch spot
i am selling a 1972 opel gt project. it has a california pink slip and has not been on the road since the 80’s. it is very solid with exception of the battery tray and the front pan. the floors are perfect and so are the doors. all glass is excellent. it is accident free and bondo free. currently it is apart, the engine and transmission is out
